Fine dining in the Middle East
Only a few years ago the MICHELIN Guide had no presence in the Gulf. Today it publishes separate editions for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, a national guide for Türkiye, and a first selection for Saudi Arabia covering Riyadh, Jeddah and AlUla. Dubai's fifth edition, announced in October 2026, holds 122 restaurants, nearly double its first year, and the city now has two restaurants at the three-star level.
The lists below follow the current editions. Each guide is revised once a year, usually in the autumn or early winter, so a new edition may add or change stars; we update this page when it does. Restaurants marked temporarily closed kept their stars and MICHELIN will reassess them on reopening.
Many of these tables sit inside the region's great hotels, so it is easy to pair dinner with a stay: see Dubai's luxury hotels, Abu Dhabi hotels and things to do and the best hotels in Istanbul.
